This sounds very interesting. I am intrigued to by what I heard. I would love to know more about it. It is definitely something I would love to do, if the price is right. I am a housewife so everything goes before my husband. It has awesome sound effects. I heard like robotic effects. Is there also other effects; such as human effects (voice changes, human screams, etc.). Wofing sounds like the next best thing for writers. It said about eight dollars a month. What are the other payment options and what are some other ways to advertise (besides word of mouth)? Keep me informed.

First off I loved the intro music.. Ha ha it was amazing! I loved the different voices you used and the sound effects were incredibly. That's probably my favorite sound effects you've done. I also loved how you had a second voice in there. It was so different than having you be all the characters and I loved it. I also loved how you made something that boring (telling people how to do something) into something truly entertaining. It's also so true about how you said that only you can tell your story the right way, because everyone takes everything a different way.
For a description this is good if not a little wordy in parts i felt my mind wondering tho and got a little bored, but i think that was more because the tone was very monotone. The inventive sound affects of voices work well to draw the auidience back n tho so all in all a nice piece , furthering the understanding of yoru work
That is so cool! Totally awesome how you can do something like that! The audio, sound effects, recording, everything is so cool! I loved the sound effects! Some of them made me laugh! Lol! :D
Pretty cool. I have a clearer understanding now. I love that you do your stuff audio, I think it is really unique. Perhaps I will try it, perhaps not. I am just happy writing and reading. But I do enjoy listening to your work. You put images and noises to your work and that almost makes it more of story rather than a poem at times. =]
Very interesting way to "write". The story itself kept me from losing interest in the topic.
I'm not a huge technology-guru, so you did a good job of explaining what a WoF was and how to participate if one choose to do so.
I, personally, do not think I'll be doing audio stuff. Although I can see the benefits, I'm old fashioned in that I like writing because it is written. My written pieces weren't meant to be songs or movies for a reason. I like to leave interpretation up to the reader instead of trying to control how a character sounds or the pace or where emphasis is placed. I feel like the more senses you use the less you use your imagination. If I am writing for an audience (which I rarely am), I'd rather not use bells and whistles and just let the work stand on its own and speak for itself.
I do think that this process would be very attractive to many people, so I think it's good that you're getting it out there. More power to you and I won't mind hearing/reviewing other pieces you do like this in the future.
Thank you for reviewing my other piece. As far as buttheads go, it takes one to know one. ;)
As a story, it seemed pretty expository. Be that as it may, it was a good expository story, like something you'd hear on NPR. The characters' voices were well developed and easy to understand. I especially liked robot. I'm not sure WoFing is for me, though. I write lengthy chapters, and I'd get tired of reading them aloud pretty quickly. And having only the audio to a story is like walking blind. Having written words in front of you is a comfort.
If nothing else, this answered the question of what "WoF" is, exactly! I'm willing to give it a try. If nothing else it will be a semi-productive exercise when I am otherwise uselessly procrastinating. The only problem I have with it, is that in some circumstances the written work provides a certain convenience that audio production can't match - i.e. reading something at lunch is easier for me at work than listening to it. ;)
