Lighthouse
Grip the oar, so that your calluses are splinted and paddle through these
foreign waters.
Hold steady now, for if you don't the ocean's breath will close your eyes.
Row, row, row!
And follow the captain's bronze eye for he see's light.
Set the sail and ready the kite.
Let the ocean breathe life into the ship.
Row, row, row!
For we need lift.
Remove the cannons, cast the anchor and sever the rope.
Watch as the captain's eye extends again and return with a gleam.
The journey is nearly over and the heavens are nothing but an arm away.
So reach and house this light, so for wherever you go a path will be lit.
