Goldfish Filigree

Goldfish Filigree

A Poem by Lucia

-and the thoughts swirl around in my mind. Sometimes- and always forgetting to be unsurprised- the “clink” of the little goldfish I know rams itself rampant and battered in tow by the seemingly whirling and whizzing array of all of those troubling thoughts on display. When really the realist most super real truth!- is the thoughts are not whirling but wheezing and slow. The blur my little gold fleck has mistaken for fervor- in fact- is none other than murmuring melting attacks. A kaleidoscope view in a world of microscopes- when the colors all fade there is all loss of hope.
