Paths of Andromeda

Paths of Andromeda

A Poem by Lucas Mercides

Antoine Gagarin wandered with his ship Thorin,
through the constellations of Andromeda, when, in his infinite inner world,
he dove into introspection:

"Cosmos, do not feel so lonely,
my chest also has its own universe;
dark and empty."

"Einstein, perhaps, never imagined
that the heavy heart would sink even to stars."

My poems are like a chest of emotions; when you open it, you will see a heart that always writes the unexpected. I am merely a spectator of myself, for the words have taken over my being long ago. more..
