Concealed Darkness

Concealed Darkness

A Poem by Merry-Jane
"

It's unseen when the light cancels it out.

"

He's the knight in my hazy dreams,

Blocked out, hardly seen.

He's one of shy smiles and curious eyes,

The lonely one I see gazing at a starry sky.

She's the yellow princess of a faraway land,

Standing out, just as planned.

She's one of sweet tones and a warm embrace,

The determined one with the Sun's grace.

I'm lost in the darkness as a mereless observer,

Curiously looking over the princess's shoulder.

The knight stands in the dark mysteriously,

While the princess absorbs the light effortlessly.
