Spring

    I couldn't help but sneeze all night and all morning. My stupid allergies kept me up all night and now I had to venture out to school. Oh joy! It took me forever just to sit up out of bed. It was as if time was moving in slow motion. My whole face hurt cause of my sinuses. Oh how I dreaded what school would be like. I was worried about Daniel too. He went to the hospital during school yesterday. Kids started rumors that he had a heart attack or died. I think that these rumors were stupid. Daniel has been my friend since kindergarden and he has been my best friend since. Daniel was the kid with all the medical issues; birth defects, illnesses, etc. Everyone made fun of him but I was always there to stand up for him.

    As I get up out of my bed I trip over a barn cat. I hit my head on my desk next to me as I hit the wooden floor. Pens and pencils fell off my desk and landed on my back. I looked up at the black cat looking at me. It was my barn cat Xavier. He looked at me and meowed.

    "What are you doing in my room silly,"  I said petting his forehead as he purred. "Your gonna be the death of me one of these days."

    He let out a small pur and meow as I petted under his chin. He came closer and licked my cheek. I giggled. I got up from the floor and picked him up as he licked my cheek more. He probably though I was hurt. I pushed him away from my cheek to give him an Eskimo kiss. He purred then laid his head on my chest.

    "Thanks for the morning kisses Xavier but i'm fine," I whispered in his soft ears.

    I walked to my wardrobe and put Xavier on the vanity chair. I pulled out a short black halter dress with dark red dots on it. The dress was close to my stomach but the bottom was puffy. I put it up to me and spun in a circle as I looked in the mirror. I turned to see Xavier meowing and jumping up and down. I couldn't help but  burst out laughing.

    "I take it you like this dress huh?" he meowed at me. "Good I like it too," I giggled.

    I slipped the dress on. I loved this dress it was my favorite. I grabbed Xavier and twirled him in the air as I spun in circles. He made little chirping noises. I set him down then jumped onto my bed. I pulled my black seude shoes from under my bed and put them on. Xavier was sniffing my left shoe. I laughed. I sat down by the vanity and brushed my hair a few times. I was hoping by the time I got to school I wouldn't be sneezing from my allergies. I grabbed my books and began walking down the dirt road of our house.
