Chapter 6 - MurderousA Chapter by Tyler and Lozza I was in shock. What was going to happen? I
was going to be killed by a crazy, mad man with a massive knife! I needed to
scream, but where were we? “Get that thing away from her!” Toby yelled
at the driver. I could see his eyes clearly now. They were cat’s eyes. Yellow
and black piercing at my skin. I could feel my hands tremble with fear. Was
this going to be death all over again? “Why should I Toby? You know we all have a
price to pay, and this is yours!” The driver hissed at Toby. What was this mad
man on about? A price to pay? “I still have time! It’s not meant to happen
now!” Toby yelled again shielding me with his arms. My eyes were covered. I
could now only hear the convocation. “Time is ticking, and my patience is gone” “You kill her you will have to kill me too!” “You are already dead? How could I kill you
again?” This sent a shiver down my spine. Tears started to pour down my face.
What was happening? Why can’t I scream? “Master wouldn’t be impressed to find me
hurt would he” Toby’s voice sounded different, evil even. “No, no he wouldn’t would he?” I heard the
man settle back into his seat and the car started to move again, quickly. “Toby? What happened?” I asked as I emerged
from under his arms. “I’ll tell you later Jade, it’s not
important” He wouldn’t look at me when he said this. My fear turned into anger. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOT IMPORTANT! YOU’RE
HIDING SOMETHING AND I KNOW IT TOBY!” I screamed at the top of my voice,
“WHAT’S THIS ABOUT MASTER AND TIME? WHY WAS THAT MAN TRYING TO KILL ME? TELL ME
TOBY? WHY!?” “BECAUSE I’M SATAN JADE! HAPPY?!” His eyes
drained from its sparkle. “Satan? Like the de-“ “Like the Devil yes” Toby quickly muttered,
butting in. “So that makes me the Fallen Angel…” I
thought aloud. Toby’s head snapped up in alarm. “How did
you know that?” “Well, you know my headmasters office?” Toby
gave a small, unsure nod, “well, above the electric fire, there is an oil
painting. It is a painting of an angel falling from the heavens with a Satan
man waiting to catch her, and she was reaching for him.” “And how did you link that to you?” Toby
curiously asked. “I didn’t, it was kinda a guess” I lied. I
sort of felt a connection which drew my eyes to that painting in the office. It
felt familiar, and now I know why. © 2011 Tyler and Lozza |
