In The Beginning

Here we are, the beginning to our story.....

Girl, standing in white, wings spread wide behind,
Hair black, eyes green
She stood, facing the nightly breeze
Tears rolling, heart sobbing
Feet cold, hands fisted
Heaven was behind, hell was down low
She had tied the knot
She loved the Satan man, a man to call her own
And he loved her back,
He stood below
His arms cradled, ready to catch 
To catch the angel who was about to fall
Fall from her freedom and godliness ways
To love and to be loved,
For eternity, forever
Forever in sin

She made her slow descend,
From heaven to earth,
Through the clouds,
Reaching for him,
The Devil.

I love how this is started with a poem, and it seemed to really open it, and makes me want to know how the rest will be. It's like it tells a lot about the story, whilst still leaving so much unknown. I can't wait to read more.
