SnowA Chapter by LowesySnow I know a lot of people enjoy snow, but what I don’t get is how people can wet themselves with excitement when the prospect of snow arises. It’s basically frozen rain. Nobody goes rummaging through their freezer for some ice to throw at each other, so why is snow any different? You get cold and wet. Throwing snow at each other always ends up with someone taking one in the face (when there is always the possibility of a rock hiding in there) and they go off crying (usually me). Another point I’d like to make is, would any of you lie in a puddle on the floor and splash about? Because that is essentially what snow angels are! Snow is cold; it’s wet and quite frankly a hiding place for sharp rocks. The ice that is inevitable is slippery for old ladies (as I found out walking to University one day and having to take a 10 minute detour to help an old lady home which made me late for a lecture), it makes slushy roads which slow people down and causes accidents and finally, and I can’t stress this enough, cold makes things small... enough said I think. I prefer warmth, sun, maybe the odd shower. © 2012 LowesyReviews
