Red Heavy EyelidsA Poem by LowesyLay your head down next to me Breathe in my smoke ‘cause it’s full of green Let’s float up to the stars Way up next to Mars. Wrap your fingertips, Around the surface, And hang on for dear life. Let me become your wings Let me take you with me We won’t even leave the grass Surrounded by empty cans But we’re happy. Red heavy eyelids, Slightly blue soft lips As the temperature hits I suppose I could warm them up With a little kiss. Can you see it in my eyes? It’s a love that’s so blind For the very first time I feel so alive What you’re doing to me? Filling me with relief I couldn't care What anybody else say's.
Let me become your wings Let me take you with me We won’t even leave the grass Surrounded by empty cans But we’re happy. Red heavy eyelids, Slightly blue soft lips As the temperature hits I suppose I could warm them up With a little kiss. I love how relaxed you are How you sit on the bonnet of my car How you don’t wear make up How you don’t care if your hair is down or up I love you Red heavy eyelids, Slightly blue soft lips As the temperature hits I suppose I could warm them up With a little kiss. © 2012 LowesyFeatured Review
