Read all About Tit

Read all About Tit

A Poem by LovingJoy
"

Daily headline - Famous woman wears almost revealing dress.

"

I'm no lady, I'm just some typical guy,

but here is a mote right in my beady eye:

If I were a woman I'd complain about this

- What's this obsession with snapping our tits?

Along with all the good news about heroines and brains,

there's a permanent vein of infantile crap fit for the drains,

Articles about the best dresses women wore somewhere,

articles about some woman and how she cut her hair,

articles about some woman caught in her sloppy joes,

features about some woman and the make-up on her nose,

articles about some woman in her bikini at the beach,

features about some woman whose cleavage you could see,

articles about some woman's dress revealing her legs - oo-ayyyy!

features about some woman topless somewhere on holiday,

invasive photos for creeps of how some women are right effin' corkers,

taken by professional photographers who are just creepy stalkers,

stolen photos of some woman naked racing round the 'net,

stolen videos faking some woman giving some guy head,

or worse intimate videos leaked for a crummy dollar,

by some ex who's a jerk even I'd like to collar,

the general theme by "news" professionals seems to be:

Here are some w****s fully dressed or in semi-nudity,

this infantile looking up skirts really gets on my tits,

I understood we value each other for our brains and wits.

Even I know women aren't some extension of a dolly

you dress up and play with as a dirty old man's hobby,

I suspect that the Press are so obsessed with sexist rubbish

it shows how far we still have to go to break gender bullshit;

on hearing misogeny my mouth no longer falls tragically agape

for example this week some prick let slip about a rape

outside his nightclub that SHE was wearing a miniskirt

so presumably (the little w***e) got what she deserved,

to the dirty old guys they reckon this is all a hill of beans,

so what if male teenagers have no sodding idea of what rape means;

however, isn't it weird how women en masse at the beach hot for a screw

don't sexually violate any man in trunks who worse has had a beer or two?

Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, other vain airhead famous prats,

do a great disservice to their hard-earnt past -

Marie de France, Jadwiga of Poland, Jane Anger, Christina of Sweden,

Abigail Adams, Dorothea Erxleben, Mary Shelley, Concepción Arenal,

Marie Bashkirtseff, Nellie McClung, Madame Wei Tao-Ming,

Germaine Greer, Fatou Diome, Mohja Kahf, oh and Emily Pankhurst, etc., etc.,

could discuss the Press' sartorial and flesh-revealing habits, how they've put on a little weight,

even 'though they are qualified and intelligent people define them by how sexy they are or not today,

and stalk and take sneaky photos of these "professional photographers" and journo's,

and the local policewoman in my town who is about 6"5' could bash them on the nose,

they're a load of dicks with their c***s in their hands who pretend misogeny is news,

so let's read all about how the Press are guilty of fomenting a patriarchal cycle of abuse.

Quite right my fellow poet.Women are treated like possessions and not people. What a man does and is commended for labels a woman a w***e.Haha it rhymes but i digress .If you wear a mini skirt is grounds for rape. What jackasses!!. How is it that woman's breasts is breaking news is there no more pressing news?It certainly says a lot about about us as a species.W e need to get a life. You have hit the reality of this subject squarely on the head.I bow to your wonderful writing:D

I couldn't help but to click on the curious title and I am certainly glad that I did, because what you have written here is really interesting and cool. Love a look into the thoughts of other people! I actually identify myself as an anti-feminist. Because I hold to the belief that men and women are equal, but meant to be radically different. All the wormen's lib girls I know aim to be men and that's just disgusting to me. Nothing makes me cringe more than women who yell and call about mens bodies too. But this was something else, really, when broken down. This was actually about being human and respect for women as people. And yeah, what is it about those tits? Lumps of fat on my chest. Nice work.

It's a biological imperative. The masculine gaze is on feminine youth and beauty while her focus is on masculine power and success. We judge a worthy vessel for our DNA by her health. The younger, the more beautiful, the healthier she is. She, who has to carry to full term, and raise the child wants security and protection. The kind a wealthy, connected man can provide because she has much more invested into the birth of a child than he does. We want to spread our DNA across the fruited plane to make sure our blood line is carried on. For all we know the dude up the street slipped her the big Zulu when she was ovulating and that baby suckling at her teat isn't our child. It's wired into the mammalian I/E emotional part of our brain and no amount of logic from the cerebral cortex is going to change that process. What's the first thing you think when you see a girl you fancy? I'd wager it's not "I wonder where they went to school?" It's more like "Ooh, Come here pretty baby, I wanna get that skirt off and get to know you." There's nothing wrong with thinking that way and don't let anyone tell you there is because it's natural. What your impulses are and how you behave in society are two different things. Owning your sexuality means being comfortable with your inner savage whom many men are not comfortable with. He's often seen as an embarrassment by more so called "enlightened" males who have a more gentle approach to life and sex (not a bad thing at all but something's usually missing in those types of guys) or he's out of control in the form of all manner of abuse. Men need to find his middle ground and let him run wild there. When you see someone you want and bad, that's your savage howling so let him howl. He's part of the masculine psyche for a reason so get acquainted with him. You'll be glad you did. Wow. I guess this poem struck a chord with me. Great job LovingJoy

sadly, its true that this type of misogyny is still prevalent, and propagated by women daily. I am not a radical feminist, but i totally get what you are saying here.

Thank you for reading the piece and your comments, and the correct spelling of misogyny.
