Tonight

Stars are shining brightly in the sky

luminizing the darkness making me feel safe

The ocean is calm,

water sweeping me in,

fires blazing,

crickets chirping,

Wolves howling.

I lay on the grass staring at the sky,

seeing what I see,

believing in it.

Tonight I am me,

no one else,

There is no one to define or question who I am,

or what I do.

tonight it's just me,

Me and the world around me.

I make the rules

I make myself happy

I live my life the way I want to

I feel proud

I feel calm

I feel myself again.
