Could We Ever Be?

This is my very first poem and I hope no one goes to harsh on me. I'm not perfect but I like this poem. Its about a boy I like in school and we use to be friends. Now he hates me but I love him...

My world has officially crashed.

You think I'm a piece of trash.

I don't run, but I dash to try and cross the finish line.

I want to believe that the grass is greener on the other side.

 

I'm scared to keep going on this way.

Its not healthy to be living my way.

I've been racing to find your love for me.

I need to know... Could we ever be?

Is it possible for you to love me?

 

I don't know why, but I've fallen for you.

Theres not a day that goes by that I'm not thinking of you.

Every step that I take is a chance for you,

Every chance that I take is a risk for you and,

Every risk that I take... Well it means I love you.

 

So when I cross the finish line, I expect to see one person,

And that would be you.

Not there as a stranger.

Not there as my friend,

But there to tell me I could do it agian.

There to tell me your proud of me.

There to tell me your in love with me.
