Stillness

Stillness

A Poem by Cynthia Yildirim
"

Arise and get thy treat. :)

"

Tonight thy brightest moon I’ve seen shines.

Does thy ocean cool its wave for thy night?

Does thy bird not sing?

The night is unlike I’ve ever seen.

The stillness great

Tonight must be right for I hear nothing

from thy neighbors.

Rise my love from thy slumber, and see thy night

It is like no other.

The stillness on thy streets below

Yet I hear no sound, I shall go down, and feel the air

Thou lay there in your sleep my love.

Oh my love, thou shant miss this night, arise and

smell the sweet stillness.

Thy night is meant for lovers.

So arise my love and get thy treat.
