Our Love

Our Love

A Poem by Megan Wylder

Our love in the form of touch
The physical perfection

The lies we hide
And the ever waking distrust
All fallen to pieces

Nothing matters now
Everything is one

The hate we felt shattered
Emotions that were long gone
Now take form with us

The pain serges through
And the enjoyment tangles around

One night of pleasure for the taking
Everything long over due
The innocence of childhood long lost
And our love takes the form of touch
