Stopping my breath.
Hearing your heartbeat.
That soft, whispering tone
Assures me we can beat the sun
To escape in our own world.
They’ll wonder where we are.
A single sinful kiss
Has paused my heart.
In your eyes is where I want to be.

I can’t stand to be
Away from you for a second.
Every word we exchange
Comes with extra weight.
I’m on the mend
And learning to love.
In your eyes is where I want to be.

Honestly, I am falling.
You have the choice
To watch and help.
I just want you to stay.
Making love in our bed
Or just talking on the phone,
It doesn’t matter to me.
All I know is,
In your eyes is where I want to be.
