Great Matriarch

Great Matriarch

A Story by cbell
"

42 laws of Maat

"

We suffer from a lack of knowledge of self. Before there were Europeans, Africans thrived with Ma’at’s 42 laws.  Ma'at teaches one to love and know thy self. She predates and contributes to all modern religions.  What if our music, video games, movies, media, religion, and universities offered Ma'at first so we could build on Truth, Justice, Order, Harmony, Balance, Reciprocity, and Propriety? We could return to a Gold Age when enlightenment was valued.  It is a miracle that some of us can still function in such toxic and hostile relationships with our government, schools, and jobs.

As a result many Blacks today have high rates of cancer, diabetes, heart ailments, and high blood pressure.  If we are free, why do we imitate those who called the world flat, and named slave ships Jesus?  We could at least pray to the brown skinned Yhwy but that might encourage some to find solace in the ways of dark skinned Ma’at our great matriarch.

Our leaders ancestors fed our children to alligators for bate.  They cut open pregnant women to punish Ma’at’s sense of Justice, Order, and Harmony.  Today our leaders build prisons instead of schools for our children.  Not much has changed,  except many Black people have lost their minds serving the love of money, the root of all evil. I can only whisper Ma’at to the lost.  Let Her enlighten you and your young with right thought and right spirit that will lead to righteous action white supremacy and fascism fear.

If we are going to be shot in the street, under paid, imprisoned for profit, and neglected, we might as well live to serve Ma’at.
