My Love

The fall breeze rustled the crackled leaves, making them dance in the golden light. Above is the clear blue sky, not a cloud in sight. Your soft hand gently brushes my neck, making its way upon my cheek. Your baby blue eyes glint in the sunlight, mesmerizing me. I bite my lip softly, searching for any emotion in your eyes. You smiled, the beautiful white rows of teeth shined against your pink lips. “I love you…” You mumbled softly, leaning in. I felt my eyes go wide as our lips met. Your soft lips sending electricity down my body. I leaned into the kiss, not wanting it to end. The happiness bubbled inside my chest, my cold body warmed from delight. Pulling back, I whispered against your lips, “I love you too…always have…” That smile I felt spread across your face as we kissed again, helped shoo away my shyness. With my arms tightly wrapped around your neck, and your arms around my hips, the moment just felt so right. Our bodies fit so perfectly together. I love you.
