when

A Poem by Cheyenne Delay

The blood drizzles down my pale white skin

leaving the floor inted red

the pain is gone for the slightest minute

no need to cry or even panic

time to stay sane and pretend it OK

make every one else see that you feel no pain

a small painted mask that no one can see

like the one green leave on a red and brown tree

your pain is covered by all the scars

your happiness is kept behind bars

you see no color there is no light

and you dream of the day that you might

your tears are red and your smiles a frown

when will this anger be taken down

sleepless nights

and endless fights

will you ever be free from all this fright
