What You Do To Me

You make me laugh

You make me smile

You take away my pain awhile

 

You calm me down

You excite me

Make me feel happy and sprightly

 

You make me realize

You make me see

That I can live life happily

 

You give me love

And confidence

But how you do makes no sense

 

You are my friend

You are my lover

Hoping to be with you forever

 

You do not judge

Only protect

Even though I’m not perfect

And I love you

I’m so glad our friendship grew
