There was a time when dragons and humans existed in a cautious balance with one another. The "Tamers" of this time dwindled into the sanctuary of the mercenary lands of Roark. It was in this land, along the borders of the vast plains, that one young girl would set out to join the ranks of the tamers. This one simple choice will spark changes not only in her own life, but in the lives of those she comes across.
