I Shouldn't Have To...

I Shouldn't Have To...

A Poem by Lucia

Take me away from here.
I can't take it any longer.
I won't take it any longer.
I shouldn't have to.

The forced smiles,
irrelevant chit-chat,
and dry laughter,

All combine to form
this corrupted clan,
along with this useless predicament
that I find myself drowning in.

And to think...
I'm with the ones who love me.
