Heaven Bent

Heaven Bent

A Poem by Jenesis
"

Written with a Spiritual outlook.

"

Atmosphere of an ever-changing season
Azure skies lift me up
A heaven easily reached,
One I do so hunger for..
as it hungers for,
nonexistent wings of mine...

That one should come and
lift me up,
would make my dejected heart soar,
Ever Higher!

Angel with those raven wings
Envelope me completely,
Existing so sweetly.
As we do on an average basis.
But who are they?
To say we are only average?

With a love as pure as ours,
Is a heaven they strive for
Every day with broken hearts,
and blind eyes.

But you and I?
We are already there.
