MistakesA Poem by LovelyDeathA poem me I wrote, my sister and dad and brother threw in a few linesI made the mistake of jumping to high
I was too young so I thought I could fly I almost kissed my life goodbye I made the mistake of crashing my bike The wheel was rolling So were my eyes Crash goes both of us The mistake I made was reading to far The book is spoiled And now I'm bored You made the mistake of forever saying goodbye I lost my fear Anger in its place I slammed the door in your face I've made a mistake I threw my shoe Higher than the cow that jumped over the moon It flew in the air and hit my chair I made a mistake I cried at school Now I think my face is blue My face is stained I wish the day was over So I could go home and get the stain remover I made the mistake of driving my sister crazy I made her dance and go act crazy Til she screamed and say 'go be a baby' I drove my teacher crazy I didn't do my work And then they called me lazy Til I go up and started acting crazy I made the mistake of skipping rocks They flew and flied Til it hit my mother in the eye I think my sister cried Now I must say goodbye © 2010 LovelyDeath |
