Death's ArmsA Poem by DoNt LoSe YoUrSeLfIt hurt. Knowing I was so done with life. Just wanting out. “I’ll be back.” I told my father. As I made my way outside, I couldn’t help but feel bad he didn’t know I was puffing on something that kills my lungs. Knowing my secret was my own. It made everything better. I couldn’t help but need more, Want more death. On the road, I knew it wasn’t much further. Soon enough, I would be there. Cradled in death’s arms, once and for all. © 2013 DoNt LoSe YoUrSeLf |
