Jacob

Jacob

A Poem by DoNt LoSe YoUrSeLf

And there she stood in the open field.

Amonth the flowers and green.

The girl of his dreams.

At first glance,

She took his breath away.

There she stood.

Her name, Aveene.

The way she traced the field.

Each step, slow yet worthy.

She felt is presence.

Yet, could not see him.

He observed her from afar.

Just hoping for her eyes to again meet his.

So unpredictable she was.

But he couldn't help waiting still.

His name,

Jacob.
