Loving, Caring, Crazy Mom

Loving, Caring, Crazy Mom

A Poem by Amanda
"

I wrote this for my mom on her birthday.

"
Dear loving, caring crazy mom,
I know sometimes it doesn’t show, but my love for you is constant and never stops its flow.
My love for you is like the ocean miles and miles of untamed sea, and were the rocking boat.
I hide below the cabin afraid to be swept away. But I know that wouldn’t happen because you are the anchor keeping us at Bay.
I cling to you for safety, and courage beyond compare, because you’re the bravest women out there.
You’re like a raging panther, strong, determined and ready to fight.
But you’re also like a dolphin majestic, brave and bright.
I could go on and on and describe what you are to me, but in the end you’ll see.
That you’re just my mom to me.
My loving, caring, crazy mom.
Who at time drives me nuts, but that’s what I love the most.
The way you push and the way you pull.
I wouldn’t change a single thing because all these things are what make you.
My loving, caring crazy mom
