Best Friends

This was from chicken soup for the girls soul, Friendship and Bff part, Called soul sisters. This story inspired me to write this poem. Incase you are really dumb, and don't know what I am saying, Somebody's friend got killed by a car that ran into her.



 

 

The two of us

Just you and me

Best friends forever

But now we can’t see

 

Something happened

On that very day

We were spread

Because you passed away

 

When that car came

You didn’t know what to do

All you did was panic

Now you have gone away

 

Couldn’t it have been me?

I would have known what to do

To get out of the way

So I could live today

 

Now I am sad

Just lying in my tears

Because of that one day

When you passed away
