A poem I wrote tonight...

 

You are my best friend,

You are my guide,

You are the reason,

That I am still alive 

 

I fight a battle,

Every single day,

Using all of my willpower

To not end my stay

 

There is only one thing

Stopping me,

Stopping me from the edge 

Stopping me  from 

Locking myself in the bathroom

And slicing both my wrist 

 

You.

You are that one thing.

Stopping me from the edge,

Stopping me from ending my Life

 

You are my bestfriend,

You have to understand that

I cannot live,

Or take this s**t

Without you, Katie 

 

Here is something,

I bet you didn't know,

I am actually quite

Jealous of you

 

You're smart,

You're pretty,

You have so much self confindence

You have so many people

Who love you for you

You don't have to pretend

You're something your not

To have friends who are true

 

You are strong,

Have so much willpower,

And can deal with whatever life Throws at you

 

But me,

There is nothing good about me,

I'm just a fuckup and a stupid w***e

 

I'm stupid,

I'm ugly,

I have absolutely no self esteem,

I can't even take a compliment,

Because I fear it's just a joke To be mean... 

 

 I am weak,

Have no willpower,

And I have given up so many Times

 

You have been such a

Great friend To me,

I am stronger because of you

 

I am nothing at all,

You're my best friend, too. But I don't have the self-confidence you think I do, I don't think I'm pretty, I don't think I'm smart, I don't think positively about myself at all.
