Your Poison Melody

Your Poison Melody

A Poem by Angel / Anesthetic

I can taste you in the rain

in the strain of waking up

in the way that I give up

I can see you in the trees

In the pretty colored leaves

in every brown in every green

I see your face in every dream and I scream

Until I wake to this mistake that I won't own

I feel the break in every bone

And I'm alone inside without you

I have grown to always doubt you

I've turned to stone

You can't atone

If I had known this much about you

I could've saved myself I swear but now you're there

Inside my head

I smell your hair when I'm in bed

I hear her name escape your lips

I see her hips against your hips and your grip

upon her waist until I'm ripping every page

like with my words I  can erase you

anything so I don't face you

Yes I hate you

No I love you

F**K ME FOR EVER THINKING OF YOU

all the flowers speak your name

and the wind whispers the same

until the numb reaches my brain and I'm

swallowing that rain

just to feel you in my veins

on my knees soaked in the pain

and in refrains from all your pretty siren songs

Please....

Sing until the pain is gone...

Spectacularly wrote. I was sucked in the minute I began. Beautifully written with sadness carving its way in.

Amazing!

Bittersweet but beautiful too. Sometimes it hurts to be in love.

Such a beautiful, bittersweet write... Powerfully vivid and painfully honest, the emotion comes alive. I read it over and over. Amazing!
