When You Left

When You Left

A Poem by Breana
"

A poem about looking at the brighter side of things, even at the darkest of times.

"
I remember that,
The wind blew the rain in,
When you left.
The doors slammed open,
And I saw the full moon through the storm.
The sky never looked as clear,
As it did that night.
I can't recall why we fought,
But I found solace,
In the salving sound,
Of the wind blowing in the rain,
When you left.
I'll remember that.

Thank you!!
Again, a comment about unnecessary commas, but on the whole, this is solemn, and at the end, I dare say eerie. Well done!

my pleasure.
This very nice! It seems as though this "leaving" is a sort of revelation. "The sky never looked as clear/As it did that night" and "And I saw the full moon through the storm" maybe this parting was for the better? Excellently done !
