I Don't Want

I Don't Want

A Poem by Prayers and Proclamations

You to talk to me

To be your friend

You to be my friend

To see you

To have to face you

To talk to you

To give you your crap back

To look at your crap

To look at you

To hurt anymore

To cry anymore

To love you anymore

I want

You to leave me alone

Never to talk to you again

To move on

To f*****g get over you

To throw away all your stuff

To set fire to it all

To watch it burn

To watch the memories leave forever

You to leave my life forever

To make you hurt like you hurt me

To make you cry as much as I've cried

To hate you as much as I used to love you

Tonight, I've really just being reading poem after poem of the same topic by chance, and again this is another one: the raw emotion, fierce and raging within the writer...

That emotion always plays into the best poems, not edited, no emotion dulled. Refreshing with reality.

I really could connect to this poem, as I'm sure a lot of people can!
Thank you.
