I Am

Who I am, metaphorically.

I am

 

I am the wild, dangerous flame

The one you cannot possibly tame

Just as I am unable to explain

-this unbearable pain

I am but a monster, insecure and caved

Just awaiting the day I shall be saved

Take me away

For here I cannot stay

I am blind, but I can see

Release the demon- inside of me.

Maybe its because I've been watching a few anime shows here and there... but it seems, if it were extended to song length, it'd be a perfect theme song.

As a poem, it is short, but gives me a sense as if I'm reading a person's life, and their existence.

Maybe its just because I see more behind every word than others, but I find this a delight to read, again and again.
