Don't Look at Me Like That.

Don't Look at Me Like That.

A Story by Luna Blue
"

Love hurts.

"
This is just pure torture...
I hate this so much.
He's always looking at her... Never at me.
He always use to keep his eyes on me... Now...
Now he doesn't even give a damn.
I glared at the blond bimbo girl, twirling her hair trying to make herself look pretty.
I growled at the back of my throat.
"Is there a dog in here or is that you?"
My friend Lucy leaned her head close to my neck.
"Nope, that's you. Come on Katia, what's wrong? You haven't growled this much since the time your little brother stole your plush bear."
"Nothing's wrong, Lucy. I'm just- I'm just annoyed."
He turned t'wards the both of us.
"Girls, please be quiet and do your work."
"Yes sir..." We said in unison.
His voice gave me the shivers so badly... I couldn't get enough of it.
"Okay, you're going red now. Darn it Katia what's going on with you?"
The bell tolled.
"Nothing Lucy, I'm fine. You go and get your food and I'll be with you as soon as I finish this question okay?"
As soon as I mentioned food, my friend disappeared.
"Hurry up and finish the questions please, I'm on duty today."
Sir's tone was so uptight... Whenever he spoke to me before is was always so... Soft.
I just nodded my head in return and kept writing...
I stopped and looked through my fringe.
"What happened to you? You've changed... You were never this... This crabby."
He lifted his head from his papers and gazed right into my eyes, looking unamused and insulted.
"Crabby? I'm acting crabby am I? Katia just hurry up and finish your work; I have somewhere to be."
I frowned at him and put my pen down,
"You could always just leave you know. It's not like I have anywhere to be... You of all people should know that."
He sighed, and I spoke again,
"What's going on, Hunter? You were always happy... You and I always had the best conversations, now you just despise me... Did I do something wrong?"
"Katia please, I do not despise you-"
"They why are you acting like I don't exist to-"
"Katia, Let me finish!"
He yelled at me. I shut up instantly and looked away, biting my lip.
"I don't hate you nor do I despise you. But what we were doing- what we had going on before can't keep happening. It's not right. I am your teacher and you are my student, that is how we need to keep it."
His words hit me like a slap to the face, and it stung...
I bit my lip to stop myself from letting the tears fall from my eyes, I don't want to be seen crying... At least not by him.
Then, something struck me.
"You say that to me, but what about saying it to Anita?"
The look on his face when I said her name. The colour in his cheeks drained as well.
"I don't know what you're talking about-"
"No. No you do, you damn well do. I saw the way you were looking at her, the way you were acting towards her. You're getting bored of me and now you're going for the perky, beautiful blonde bimbo."
I couldn't take it anymore and let out a small whimper. I stood up and grabbed my bag, shoving my book and pen inside and just walking out,
"Katia!-"
"Don't say anything." I sobbed, "...I can't stand people like you..."
Then I just left...
My heart was bursting inside of my chest, as I walked away.
I closed my eyes, but when I did; I couldn't help but remember his face when he looked at me...
His eyes...
'Please... Don't look at me like that.'

Everything go's to fast for me to catch up. My mind never stops thinking, sometimes that's good but mostly it's bad. I prefer to write short stories, sometimes there's a plot... But usually there's .. more..
