Fire in a Snowstorm

Fire in a Snowstorm

A Poem by Love.Stained

No one chooses to come here,
for my world is a lonely snowstorm.

No one chooses to tread here,
because they're afraid of the dark.

I used to wander through the endless cold,
clueless of what I expected to find.
Until I saw a glimmer, a spark.
Hope.

And I realized you were what I was looking for.
My fire in a snowstorm.

Lovely. Well done.

This is such a strong poem, thick imagery and clear emotion. I simply love how candid this piece is!

All well done; I see no flaws,
only great imagery and a
Killer-Bee last line!

I'm impressed. It's not easy to write a love poem without being a little cliche, and while yours was cliche, at least it was different in the way it was done.... if you know what I mean, wonderful. It's definately a compliment!

If this is your FIRST poem, then you have a natural talent! I absolutely love it! And I can really relate to it, too.

this is your first poem? Seriously?!?! Your words have a sort of 'honest expression of grace'. The phrase is borrowed from a friend. But it works for you. Lovely to read your words.

A outstanding poem. Your description in the poem was very good. Led the reader into conflicts. Gave us a good and hopeful ending. A pleasure to read. Hope to read more poetry.
