You may feel like a disappointment
But this is the start of a movement
I may not be proud of who I am
But I’m about to get up
And make a stand

Let’s start this movement
Without change
There’s no improvement
In this broken world
It can be hard to see
But tonight we’re taking a stand
For those of us who’ve lived on our knees
I’m reaching out my hand

You don’t have to live like this
I know this world can be a
Dark, painful place
And you’re lost
In an endless maze
But you don’t need to do this to yourself
To hide from it
In this constant haze

I’ve been there
I know what it’s like
To not be able to see the light
When it seems that the only way out
Is to take your own life
But we’re here
To stand by your side
I’m offering my shoulder
For you to cry

We have a hopeful tone
As we share our stories
And find we’re not alone
Through the worst of weather
Hand in hand
We can stand together
You’re not going to be left behind
Because you have a purpose
And you’re beautiful in my eye
