UnseenA Poem by LourisaWhat deep wounds ever heal without scars? What scars ever truly shows how deep the wound has been? What man can forever live behind bars? What life behind bars truly reflects the battle scene? What death would be merciful enough not to cause a mar? What mercy would ever hide the sins unseen? But there is no death and there are no bars That can take away or contain the beast I've seen No man should have to carry alone The burden of fighting this war on his own Do you hear his harrowing cry? Still you will let him bleed bone dry. It is over now. You can throw the first stone From where you sit on your high throne. © 2013 LourisaReviews
