The Little Acre is really a handdrawn pointandclick adventure about a guy named Aidan and the daughter Lilly, who're searching for Aidan's father in 1950s Ireland. The quest requires a twist when Aidan is
Runescape Gold transported to some strange land full of bizarre creatures, and goes really sideways when Lilly decides to consider matters into her very own hands to "help." We got our first take a look at it in August, now publisher Curve Digital announced that it is going to be out on November 22.
The Little Acre may be the debut project from indie outfit Pewter Games, with Broken Sword creator Charles Cecil becoming executive producer."I ve thoroughly enjoyed working using the Pewter Games team,Cecil said."I m enormously excited to determine how modern players respond towards the point and click on genre whether it goes well,I can see a genuine resurgence.I d easily be interested in revisiting a number of our titles, too. There s an entire generation of gamers available who won t have played a point and click on adventure before,Pewter Games cofounder Ben Clavin added.
Of course, those wellversed in adventures will feel aware of The Little Acre, but we re equally excited introducing the genre to some brand new audience.I admire Clavin's enthusiasm but I'm not sure I agree together with his assessment.Adventures obviously don't dominate the the way they did back within the 80s and early 90s,but there's a great deal of topnotch stuff around the market, and I think the genre at this time is probably as popular and visible because it's ever going to become.
