Fly

escaping and flying above

People racing through the streets,

The setting sun shining down,

 

Peoples live rushing by,

The city crowded with busy footsteps,

 

No space between the buildings,

Bright signs surround my sight,

 

I want to fly,

 

Watching the birds flying,

I want to follow them

I want to fly too,

Free under the blue bright sky

I want to follow them,

 

Soaring through the sky,

Touching the white wispy clouds,

 

I want to touch the sky

I reach but my fingers can’t reach the clouds,

 

I want to leave this busy street,

I want to fly freely

 

I want to slow down,

I want to break out,

I want to snap these chains,

 

In the clouds,

I feel there’s a life for me,

 

Like a bird in the sky,

 

Fly in the sky,

Fly so high,

 

Fly spread my wings,

I only look forward,

 

If I have courage,

I can do it,

 

I want to touch the sky,

I want to fly
