I Hope....

A poem about heartbreak and also hope that a person can find someone who can heal them. Emotionally

I hoped
For a long time
That you would notice me
Just as I am
That you wouldn't
Not again
Compare me
To anyone else
But I was dead wrong

I hoped
Since I met you
That you would care for me
Be there for me
As I've been there
Everytime
For you
But that will never happen

I hoped
Since we became one
That you would love me
Unconditionally
Just as I do
But all I got
As a slap in my face
My heart
That you would never love me
In your life

I hope
That you will
In all ways
Do all that
To the new woman
On you arm

And I hope
That I'll find someone
Who'll will do all things
You never did
And mend my broken heart

Nice write, really sad but these unfortunate things happen in this crazy life!
