Man And MonsterA Chapter by Louis McKraker(2008)Sobriety has finally Become a casual guest In the land where both man And monster now find rest
The man no longer battles the beast over the burning gold, Now that finally the conflict has ceased The rest of the story remains out-guessed and untold, Now that finally the two find peace
Tell me who can discern between what is and isn’t necessity? I think we all remain challenged of such scrutiny They make you feel it’s okay to feel sad and lonely, As long as you keep everyone impressed
But now all I see looks happy, However homely, In the land where both man
And
monster find rest
