Silver LiningA Poem by Laura Kate
My iron silver lining
bolts fly in the skies the blackness of midnight hides behind my eyes my surest surprise a guilty delight dancing on the dunes whilst awaiting sunrise bricks of gold reflecting sparkling, glinting rays the hands of wind lifting my cotton as it sways up and up past the orange hues of day over the depth of darkness silently, I wait taking a seat in the misty clouds eyelids falling gently down my silver lining - my heavenly delight pray you unlock your gates for me night after night.
