Reunited

Reunited

A Poem by Laura Kate

If anyone could find a way to come through,

there’s no doubt in my mind that this person is you.

So I’ll wait on this side for a pleasant surprise,

or until the last day that I close my eyes.

LOVE THIS! There have been millions of messages to the other side, but this one is short & sweet in all the right ways. Feels like grief that's matured to the point where one's angel is an accepted & desired fixture in one's life! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Delightful. I thought of my Dad when I read your lines. Exactly the sort of conversation I had with him shortly after he died. If ever there was a break through, it would be him that would return.

You are welcome dear LouBelle.
I like this not only for the message but for the easy-going rhythm you wrote it with.

Thank you Relic! So nice to see you here.

These lines are apparently addressed to one who is no longer on the physical plane. I get the feeling the loss has been fairly recent, for the speaker's faith in contact seems strong. A determination to wait patiently for as long as it takes is voiced. A sense of futility has not set in. With faith, anything is possible.

A lovely seance of prose! I am really not sure about the worth of medium's, my mind seems too grounded to accept the notion of it, but if there is a skerrick of truth to what they do, I am sure our most loved and dearly departed would try to contact us and ease our pain at their loss. An original piece of prose and one wonderful in its brevity!:))
