Empaths break themselves in order to heal others

I saw Chiron in your fourth house 

- knew he was there all along

I lasted five years without checking 

in case I could have been wrong.

Those five years I spent adoring you 

- healing the scared boy inside,

and for those five years I was punished,

for being able to read the skies.

okay.. I don't mind admitting it.. I really liked this little poem.. it reminded me of one of Marc Bolan's early song/poems....

its hard to be ok with someone when they use us ..despitefully use us ..especially when a length of time is vested by the "empath" ... i read somewhere (in this galaxy a long long time ago... one should not resist the user as we do the same when trying to "figure" things out within us ... doesn't make it any easier ... but at least doable perhaps ... without bitterness ... pretty intense scene you set in just 2 verses .. lots of emotions and "story" that i find easy to "fill in" ... i think the strength of quatrains always lends a solid base ... something we all need in a difficult situation ;)
