See meA Poem by Laura Kate
I like to take them to the places you took me
because I can still see you standing at that bar I noticed the back of your neck before anything else and somehow you felt like home I like to brag about this new place I know because discreetly it links me to you like a secret memory no one else knows of not so long ago I like to sit at that same table where your ex-lover told you to 'have fun' with me because we went home that very instant and you did and we did and I loved it And I wonder if you're in any of those other places right now did I pick the wrong one today? or maybe you're back with her now, since you're no longer with me? I wouldn't blame her now that I know what she knows now that I know what 'you' feels like but I might end up blaming me It's a dangerous game I'm playing but I'd rather see you with her and have you see me than not be seen at all
