The lost Generations.A Poem by Kimberley ReidThis is very poiniant, sorry if it upsets any readers please know that this poem is quite angered in nature.Looking at the world today it's no suprise that all we see is the homeless, lost and deprived, around you and me.
Where did the fairy tale godmother go? Did she too feel anger and fear, as our own generations are lost, to the likes of apple and top gear.
What happened to helping your neighbour? Instead of spitting over the hedge. What happened to loving one another? Instead of pushing eachother over the edge.
Where did the good samaritan go, did they too feel alone? Did they too feel submissive to the big man, as they were toiled with like a dog with a bone.
Was there ever a time of love and plenty? Or is it simply told to help us sleep? Was there ever really our robin hood? Or was it just a bed time miss instead of counting sheep.
But looking at the world today It's no suprise that all we see, Is the fearful and the lost around the likes of you and me. © 2013 Kimberley ReidAuthor's Note
