Chapter 1: The Kingdom of Valtor

High atop the jagged peaks of the Endless Mountains lies the kingdom of Valtor. A land of breathtaking beauty and perilous landscapes, it is home to a race of beings known as the moonfolk. These magical creatures possess a natural ability to wield the power of the moon, using it to enhance their spells and enchantments.

In Valtor, the moonfolk live in harmony with the land and its creatures, although it is ontop a high mountain they are provided with the means to live a humble life. The Kingdom is ruled by a wise and just queen, who has led her people through many trials and tribulations.

It is in this kingdom that our story begins, with a young moonfolk girl named Reniran and her little brother Reinan. Reniran is a spirited and curious child, always eager to explore the world beyond the borders of her village. Reinan, on the other hand, is timid and shy, preferring to stay close to home and avoid the dangers that lurk outside.

Despite their differences, the siblings share a deep bond, forged through years of laughter and tears. They live with their parents in a small hut made of stone and ice on the edge of the village, surrounded by the .

Reniran spends her days practicing her magic, honing her skills with the guidance of her mother and other elders in the village. Reinan, meanwhile, attends school and helps his father tend to the fields and livestock.

One day, while playing with her brother Reinan by a stream on the mountainside, Reniran stumbled upon a rare flower. It was said to contain ancient knowledge, and to grant the one who possessed it great power. Reniran knew immediately that they had to bring the flower back to their village, but as they made their way down the mountain, they saw something that filled them with dread.

An orc herd was approaching their village.

Reniran and Reinan knew that they had to act quickly. They took the flower and began to run, but the orcs were not far behind. Just as they were about to be caught, Reniran used her magic to create a thick fog that enveloped them, making it impossible for the orcs to see them. They ran for hours until they reached a nearby village, where they formed a plan to defend Valtor. They ran as fast as they could towards her village, the screams getting louder and more desperate with every step. As she reached the outskirts of her village, she saw the horrors that awaited her. Orcs were everywhere, burning buildings and killing anyone who dared to resist.

Reniran's heart sank as she realized that she was too late to save anyone. Her entire family, her friends, and her fellow moonfolk were gone.She looked around, but her brother was nowhere to be found. The only thing left was destruction and death. During the battle, Reniran was knocked unconscious. When she woke up, she found herself in a strange place. She didn't know who she was or where she was, and her mind was completely blank.
