Lies and illusions

Contradictions in what we want and what we have , what we see and what is hidden. Its something I wrote while going through a tough time with my ex.

Take a step back look what you've become
Your changing, your becoming someone..
Youre growing up
You're shaping up
Or are you just playing
People look at you wondering what you've been through
Do they know , can they guess
Its lies and illutions filling their heads
You're not someone people figure out because inside all you seem is dead .
You're souless yet beautiful
A majestic masterpiece
I contridict what I say because no one knows what they want to see
There's many things good and bad
Storms rolling in causing a roar
Floods taking lives
Tornado's crashing dreams
Maybe on the inside it's becoming too much for me

Author's Note

So its wasn't particularly thought through while writing , it just sort of started pouring out and wouldn't stop , I think . Excuse the punctuation missing but its poetry and that's what I was aiming for .

My favorite were the last four lines, especially the last one. Really powerful and emotional imagery.
