What Life?

What Life?

A Poem by Lost_And_Found

Count all your ambitions,
More than the seconds of the day.
Tell me about your plans,
More than the things you try to say.

But while you're trying hard to get there,
Do you even know,
Do you even care,
What kind of happiness you're fighting for?

You don't have to solve this riddle,
Almost no one ever will.
It's a huge mess but you're not in the middle.
This is no ones table, no ones bill.

"Create something that outlives you",
Goal is given, method found.
Great prospects, but no clue,
So live your life, don't miss this round.

But life, what is that, when does it even start?
Please repeat, what exactly is my task?
Wait, is this already my part?
And what will I do when there are no more questions left to ask?
