Cry

Cry

A Poem by W. V. H.
"

Lonely

"

Cry, baby, cry lonesome nights go by.
Forever the day looms with no horizon.
I wither at the thought of hope.
Crimson my eyes have become.
The race of heart no longer speeding.
A slow crawl has encased my thought.
Lost are the sounds only the echoes of sobs and wails.
Cry, baby, cry lonesome days go by.
